They contain 100% active ingredients, which means that unlike bottled fuel additives, MPG-CAPS are consumed completely without harming your engine. With MPG-CAPS, your vehicle will burn fuel more completely and cleanly, reducing environmentally harmful emissions and the carbon deposits in your engine.

A second benefit of this RED combustion catalyst coating is that it prevents carbon and most lube ash deposits from accumulating on the piston and head. This reduces the octane appetite of the engine (allows you to use regular fuel rather than premium to avoid knock and pinging).

Portable Air Conditioner Units Are Quiet

An improperly sized air conditioning may require a great deal of energy and will cool too quickly, adding massive loads to your system. Air conditioning cooling is the best way in the summertime. Homeowners often want to know what size air conditioning unit they should buy for a room. Plenty of air conditioning units are designed to be efficient and durable. Centralized air systems are in the vast majority of "newer" homes. Some air conditioning units can now use half the energy of typical former models.

Air conditioning is critical in running your business in a public place. In this country, people use a great deal of air conditioning - around 33 kilowatt-hours per day. Air conditioning cooling is also of great importance for food conservation and health care. Gas air conditioning and electric evaporative coolers are environmentally friendly and their lower operating costs can put money in your pocket. Top air conditioning units stand out for quiet operation. Because of unrestricted delivery of conditioned air, ductless systems are often used in libraries and businesses. Newer air conditioning units require less energy than a new non-ENERGY STAR model and cools just as well.

3 Solar Portable Generators

We looked at a solar portable generator that comes in three models. The first model is a 12 amp AC unit with a 150 watt inverter. The second model is a 12 amp DC unit and the third is a 30 amp DC unit. All three units have twenty foot 12/2 cables with DC plugs for input. They don't however come with batteries or modules. You should be sure and price these necessary accessories with the unit when determining what models you are going to purchase. You shold also consider that batteries will have a set life based on how they are used and will need to be replaced at regular intervals.

The solar portable generators come factory tested and fully assembled. They are ready to plug in and use when you receive them. The AC model has its inverter switch on the outside of the unit. They all three come with PV module type accessories for mounting. The AC model has a 120VAC socket with an outdoor weatherproof cover. It also has a 150 watt internal inverter.

DISH NETWORK Service

More than 11 MILLION customers nationwide have made the switch to DISH NETWORK® service.

Compared to cable and DIRECTV, DISH NETWORK offers much more value and entertainment! One commercial, for instance, features a husband and wife: the wife is coming home from work, sees a huge hole in the tree, big enough for the satellite dish to send signals through, while the husband sits in the living room watching his TV and drinking from a container he rests on the tree cut-out table he has fashioned. Another commercial features a couple who are implicitly husband and wife or live-in boyfriend and girlfriend. Gone are the days of huge dishes taking up half of the backyard, and having to buy a descrambler so that you could watch anything. Now satellite dishes are very small and mount to your roof or side of the house. There are various providers (Direct TV and Dish Satellite two of the most popular), just like cable television, and you can choose from a variety of packages so you can get the channels you want. Of course, we are so spoiled now with all the channels that we will continue to surf and still find nothing to watch. Just think of when we were kids, and had only three channels, ABC, CBS, NBC, and maybe PBS if we could get it in. Our kids have no idea how good they have it!

Satellite TV has an abundance of programming options available to fit your personal choices and tastes. Latin channels are also available for those that choose to watch in Spanish, and some movie channels broadcast in Spanish also. Satellite TV providers offer local programming, music channels such as Sirius satellite radio, CD music channels, and movie channels, such as Showtime, HBO, Cinemax, the Movie Channel, Encore, Starz, Sundance, Sci-fi and Beyond, Flix, Action, Love, Mystery, Drama, Wam, the Independent Film Channel, and more! Other popular channels such as E!, A&E, the History channel, Discovery, the Travel channel, VH1, MTV, Country Music TV, Fox, the Food channel, Home & Garden TV, Animal Planet, USA, TBS, TNT, FX, the TV Guide channel, TV Land, the Love channel, WE, Comedy Central, Style, the Gameshow channel, Biography, SciFi, Bravo, Oxygen, Black Entertainment TV, American Movie Classics, Turner Classic Movies, ESPN, CNN, MSNBC, the Outdoor channel, Spike TV, Nickelodeon, Disney channels, the Cartoon Network, Boom, Hallmark, TLC, Soap, Court TV, the Weather channel, Home Shopping Network, QVC, and many, many more! You are just spoiled if you can not find something to watch!

Satellite TV providers often entice new subscribers with offers of free equipment, free trial period, or free movie packages for a specified length of time. Satellite TV receivers now include DVR technology, or digital video recorder, so that you can record any program at any time without the hassles of tradition video recording. With this technology you can tape over a hundred hours of programming, save what you want, and delete what you do not want. It is great! You can even tape on one channel and watch something else on another channel, or a DVD if you like. Satellite TV is very inexpensive and subscriptions start under $20 per month. Cable companies usually charge much more, and the selection of channels is usually not as good either. Check out satellite TV today, see what you are missing!

Sustainable Business

Being mindful of your impact on society and on the environment is what sustainable business is all about. It just is not safe to think that any random prowler could just break into your house and steal your hard enarned wares, and even terrorize you and your family. A good alarm system can protect you and those you love, and they are much cheaper than you would have thought.

To be effective, an alarm systems can't just ring a bell, although this can sometimes be enough to scare off a thief. Many people prefer a silent alarm system. These systems to not ring when someone breaks in, but instead they call the police silently using a connection wired to a central database, and then to the cops. The cops arrive and catch the thieves by surprise, and that way they have no time to get away with your posessions. For many years we had one of these, and were very happy with it.

But recently, I was thinking about it and I decided that I'd just as soon scare the thieves away, get them out of my house as soon as possible. This seemed like a safer move to protect myself and my family, and I realized that if they were running to beat the cops, they wouldn't have time to steal too much anyway. Now, when my alarm system calls the police, it rings also a loud piercing bell, so piercing that it is painful to hear and be in the same room as. This way, if the cops are delayed (and I've heard of cases where it takes the cops a whole hour to get to a house in the middle of a burglary) the thieves are long gone anyway, and the house is peaceful and secure.

Museums have fascinatingly complex alarm system, as does any place that requires high security. I remember once when I was a kid, leaning too close to look at a painting, and setting off an infra-red alarm. Everyone looked at me, and I felt quite embarassed, but in reality, all I was trying to do was to see the painting more closely. Some of these museums (although, fortunately, not the one I was in) even have steel gates designed to stop people from being able to exit once they sneak in and steal something. And in addition to this, they have that good old standby of security: guards patrolling with flashlights and weapons. When you think about it, it is surprising that art works get stolen ever at all.

Flat panel lcd televisions

The TV has simply become part of our lifestyle. We depend on these entertainment sources every day, whether it be for current events or sporting events. The great thing is, they always continue to upgrade. When it comes to our home entertainment, we certainly pull out all the stops. A prime example of what I mean are the flat panel lcd televisions. If you don't already have one, then I'm sure it's on the wish list. I recall the first time I spotted one of these beauties. I was browsing casually through an electronics superstore and everyone was crowded in a certain corner. Like most people, I had to see what all the fuss was about. When I peeked over the crowd, I was dumbfounded. All hail the flat panel lcd television. Home theaters have reached that next level.

Flat panel lcd televisions are becoming more and more prominent as years go by. They may have hit the stores less than a decade ago, but the prices are gradually coming down. Whenever a new electronic masterpiece hits the streets, we all crave the benefits. The fact that it's out of reach, even makes us want it more. Flat panel lcd televisions were definitely one of those innovations. The picture and sound quality offered, are amazing. Who wouldn't want one gracing their living room wall.

A major attraction of the flat panel lcd televisions is the size. We finally have a large television that takes up little to no space. You can prop them in the corner or up against the wall with ease since they're so thin. However, the trend is all in the wall mount. It doesn't get much more convenient than mounting your flat panel lcd television on the wall like a picture. This only leaves you with the dilemma of where to place it. You will likely want it in more than one room. In addition to the compact size, the flat panel lcd televisions offer you that movie theater widescreen. Finally! We've all been waiting for this. The trend of widescreen DVDs has been complimented with the actual entertainment systems.

If you're looking to purchase one of the new flat panel lcd televisions, online is a great place to start your search. This way you can get an idea of prices versus sizes, and wall mounts, ect. By surfing the web, you will likely ensure yourself of not getting ripped off; then when you look in an electronics store, you'll know what's a good buy.

Radio Frequency Energy Fans Thermacool

Radio Frequency Energy Fans Thermacool

by: Barry Lycka, M.D.

I guess you wouldn't think that radio frequency energy would be making waves in the beauty industry? But, it is. A device that uses RFE is being used in the Thermalcool procedure. If you don't know what Thermacool is, then you haven had your ear to the station. Thermacool is the new non-surgical procedure that gives men and women a healthy alternative to surgical facelifts. The process tightens your skin by contracting the deep layers of skin. Thermacool is also known on the market as Thermalift and Thermage. Let call it Thermacool because it sounds hip.

Two thumbs up! That's the rating The Food and Drug Administration is giving Thermacool. The FDA approval is leading to the procedures widespread use. Doctors and their patients believe Thermcool irons out wrinkles and reduces sagging skin. The face is the best place to use Thermacool, however it is used on the neck and arms as well. It is a good treatment anywhere there is loose skin. Some folks are using it under the arms and to treat stretch marks on the abdomen and hips.

60-Year Old Lynn Shores had a treatment six months ago and is looking forward to having another one in about three more months. She says,  was looking twice my age! I had the procedure done because I wanted to look younger and prettier in my face.? Shores began to see results about two months after having the treatment. She is among a growing number of people who believe the benefits of Thermacool far outweigh the risks. Thermacool may cause some discomfort but the risk of surgery, anesthesia and scarring are less than with surgical procedures. In fact, some people say the procedure really doesn't hurt that much at all.

So you may be wondering how does it work? It takes anywhere from thirty to forty five minutes to complete the Thermacool procedure. Most patients?only need a topical anesthetic cream placed on the face. Your technician will do that about an hour before the treatment is scheduled to begin. Other people may need Valium or some other kind of oral sedative.  was just so jittery about having it done, says 35 year old Marc Thompson. I didn't know if it would improve my appearance or make it worst. I guess men are just not supposed to try these things, but I took my wife recommendation.? Thermacool is not any different from any other surgical procedure if you need a stronger sedative, youl need an anesthesiologist to administer the dose.

As I mentioned, Thermacool uses radio frequency energy to apply heat under the epidermis or top layer of the skin. The heat is applied directly into the dermis layer. The dermis layer is right under the epidermis. I could feel a warming on my face. It felt unusual. I couldn't do anything but lay still,?says Tonya Morgan.

You'll want to lay still too as the heat causes the tissue in the dermis layer to warm up. This controlled heating of deeper layers of skin and tissue causes the skin to contract and tighten. This is known as volumetric tissue heating. There is some pain every time there is a pulse, but a cooling spray brings some relief after each pulse.

The volumetric tissue heating causes the collagen underneath the skin tissue to contract and shrink. At the same time, the top layer of the skin is kept cool by cryogen cooling. Cryogen cooling keeps the temperature on the surface of the skin cool while the dermis tissues are heated up. The heating action causes two reactions. The first result is an increased thickness in the top layer of skin. It the heating that actually causes works to reduce the wrinkles.

The second result is collagen remolding and the production of new collagen. The skin continues to tighten over time as the skin heals. You may be able to see a difference in your appearance immediately. However, it takes most people up to six months to see a difference. It is possible for the procedure to be repeated again after six months. You should let your technicians take before and after pictures to help you see any subtle changes.

Now, you've probably wondering whether Thermacool, Thermage and Thermalift are right for you. Patient who live on a pacemaker cannot undergo the procedure; it's just too risky. You may want to pass on the procedure if your skin is really, really loose. Surgery may be your only hope. However, Thermacool works best in combination with laser treatments, Botox, resytlane, and collagen injections. Traditional eye, forehead and eyebrow surgeries also work well with Thermacool.

Research shows Thermacool works! If it didn't the FDA wouldn't have given it a nod. Patients wouldn't have issued a strong endorsement either. we never felt better about myself. I know most people would be afraid to try a procedure like this, but not me! I'm all for looking younger and healthier. The best part is how good I feel about me,?says Shores.

About The Author
Barry A. S. When the technology first became available solar cells where heralded to be the end of the oil crisis and the energy crisis. We suddenly had plentiful free energy, all of it coming from the sun. Within ten years sun power were predicted to heat and power our homes and businesses. Some people even thought we would be driving solar-powered cars soon, with long, sleek shapes covered with solar panels.

Unfortunately, the reality didn't quite match up with the dream. Solar panels were expensive to manufacture, and unless you had a lot of panels exposed to a lot of sunlight, clean power systems didn't produce very much power. However, now that we're seeing more refinement in sun power technology, we may be witnessing a rebirth in energy generating systems, at least in certain environments.

Though sunlight-collection panels still absorb nature energy when it's cloudy outside, they absorb much more energy and therefore produce more power if they're exposed to direct sunlight. sunlight energy systems are therefore much more effective in Tucson, AZ, then they are in Seattle, WA. Also, this systems produce more power during longer days, so short Alaskan winter days aren't very good for solar systems. The ideal environment is in the desert, with long days and little cloud cover.

To be effective, this power systems don't need to power an entire business community or even provide all of the power for a private residence. sun energy systems are much more efficient at heating water than they are at producing power. Since standard hot water heaters can consume over a third of a house's energy, replacing a gas-powered hot water heater with a solar powered heater can reduce a home's energy bill considerably, as well as making the owners eligible for a tax cut in select states.

Sun power-generation systems are also very useful for providing power in locations which are hard to reach with standard power lines. They're extensively used for cell phone towers and other reflective antenna arrays located on mountaintops and other hard to reach places. Since these installations don't require a great deal of power or maintenance to run, solar panels can provide plenty of power without needing to be maintained or refueled. Though we're probably still quite a ways from a completely nature-powered society, we'll likely see many more solar powered devices as solar technology becomes more refined and more efficient.

Electronic Data Interchange

EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange. It is a documented standard that allows the transfer of data between different companies and their own proprietary networks. EDI defines the language that companies use to talk to each other and conduct business with each other electronically. EDI is very important. It provides a standard method for companies to buy, sell, and trade with one another. EDI is an ANSI documented standard for doing electronic business.

Many larger corporations use EDI extensively and require that those who do business with them to use EDI as well. For many smaller and mid-size companies, following EDI standards is a part of doing business.

EDI standards mirror what you would expect to see on paper documents. For example, an EDI order transmission would include one EDI order header record that would include the purchaser identification, the destination of the order, and the delivery date of the order. Each order header record would include one ore more order detail records. Each order detail record may include the item ordered and the quantity needed.

EDI standards for communications have been developed for many industries including banking, warehouses, medicine, transportation, engineering and more. The EDI standard allows free electronic data transmission between businesses. It defines what data comes in what order and how large each piece of data can be. It defines whether the data is characters only, numeric only, or a combination of the two. EDI also defines which data is required and which is not. Thus, if an EDI transmission is sent, it can be tested for accuracy and completeness.

Organizations that choose to send and receive data electronically via EDI standards are known as trading partners. Trading partners will agree together on which EDI transactions to send. Then each trading partner will map the EDI data to their company specific requirements, databases, and processes.

Many larger companies have a team of EDI software experts who are trained and experienced with the EDI requirements and standards. These teams are responsible for onboarding new trading partners, managing the EDI transmissions or current trading partners as well as maintaining the internal EDI systems as the EDI standards grow and evolve.

Many consulting companies will provide EDI experts and training to companies who are not equipped or experienced to handle EDI communications. In addition, user friendly interfaces to the world of EDI are available for smaller companies who need to use EDI for some of their business partners.

Satellite Maps

If you, like most other people, have been tracking the expense of your government, you would have noticed that apart from defense, the single largest proportion of the national budget goes into space exploration. Governments all over the world are wont to spent billions of dollars each year in sending satellites into space to collect information ranging from critical intelligence, through weather reports to even seemingly mundane images like satellite maps.

Before we get into the nitty gritty of what satellite maps really are, we need to understand how a satellite really works. In very simple terms, a satellite is any body or object that revolves around a planet or other heavenly body in a circular or elliptical path. By this definition, the moon is earth original satellite. But as we have seen, most governments with the money and the wherewithal have launched their own man made satellites into space. Because of the benefits that such man made satellites have given us, a satellite nowadays refers almost exclusively to such devices placed in space with the express purpose of gathering data or collecting information. And one of the best examples of such useful information collected by satellites, is satellite maps.

Satellite maps are tremendously useful to a wide range of users. The weather report they provide helps meteorological departments provide advance storm and calamity warnings. The environmental information they provide helps environmental agencies pinpoint trouble spots and get into action. The intelligence information of satellite maps has often been relied on to provide life saving information for warfare purposes. And the geral information they provide have helped prospectors identify sources of natural deposits to create mining and allied industries.

Probably the widest used example of a satellite maps generator is Google Earth ?the real time satellite map imaging software developed by Internet Company Google. I came across this innovative product during a web search and have been using it ever since to generate my own, personal satellite maps. No longer do I need to dream about how various parts of the globe look when seen from space. Whether it is the Grand Canyon in Colorado, or the Vatican from above or even Red Square in the heart of Russia, all I need to do to view it is to type the name and viola! The satellite map is presented to me in vivid detail. Some innovative users have already begun using these satellite maps to advertise their products and services and Google Earth is all set to become the best known example of collaborative satellite map technology in the world.

Companies like Space imaging (www.spaceimaging.com) have made it their full time business to receive satellite map information and analyze and report the results to a wide range of industry segments. In addition to providing critical information to governments and industries, they also use the satellite maps to generate aerial posters of popular earth landmarks. These are sold to collectors, the concerned and even the plain and simple curious. As for me, I'll use my trusted Google Earth to generate my own, personal satellite maps. Maybe I too can become a satellite map services provider someday!

Satellite Radio

No matter how advanced the technology becomes for pre-recorded music, all of us still need the radio. There is something warm and fuzzy listening to your favorite disc jockey play the music that you like.

However, there is a new technology opening up in the radio market; satellite radio.

All of us have experienced, particularly in our cars, when the radio signal fades or is over driven by static. All of this comes from the fact that most radio stations cannot broadcast their signal beyond 30 or 40 miles up 100 miles, depending on the terrain and the frequency, from the transmitting tower. Now with eh new technology of satellite radio, you could drive all the way across the country listening to the same radio station. Although satellite radio is not just for automobiles, industry sources say that is where the future lies. With eh signal being broadcast, not from the highest mountain around but from 22,000 miles in space, you will never lose the signal.

Even at home, the wind blows and the neighbor's big tree next door starts moving and then the signal fades. On the other hand, in the big city, you just cannot receive your favorite FM station because the other tall buildings block the signal. That will never happen again with satellite radio.

Moreover, I have to add that, because satellite radio is a paid-for service much like your cable TV, there would be few if any commercial interruptions of your music listening pleasure.

The two big players in the satellite radio business, also called digital radio, are XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio. Each is offering near CD quality music beamed to your home, office, or car from outer space.

For several years now, the automobile industry has been offering satellite radio in some of their most popular models. Now though, there are many portable units available for you to receive satellite radio.
